Gesa Wisch, a noted business-IT leader with a solid history of customer-centric performance and cross-functional management, has created lean technical organizations that conserve expenditures while utilizing emerging technologies. Gesa has most recently taken on the role of Senior Vice President of Technology at Tim Hortons an iconic Canadian Brand and leader in the Quick Serve Restaurant Industry. Gesa is a strategic, energetic & business focused technology leader & turnaround specialist.  In her previous role as VP of Information Technology at Biovail, she has been credited with shaping strategy, helping to achieve aggressive business goals by driving execution of revolutionary changes that transformed IT into a highly productive, cost-conscious function.

Wisch led organizational redesign efforts that consolidated redundant operations and revitalized business capabilities through infrastructure renewal. With a reputation for an energetic, analytical style and ability to gain consensus for critical business decisions, she eliminated dependence on outdated technologies and created robust IT organizations that were held up as models of operational efficiency and improvement.

Throughout her career as an IT Executive, Gesa has held numerous positions of strategic impact, with primary responsibility for all facets of global IT operations, including ERP implementation and support, data center administration, communications, infrastructure advances, consolidation, regulatory compliance, outsourcing assessment and systems selection. Gesa graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario with an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree and holds certifications in ITIL, SAP and as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
